Siblu - Multi-Lingual Secure Intranet
Siblu Holidays (formally part of the Haven group) required a fully content managed intranet that could host the ever-growing resources for all of their holiday parc’s in France, Spain and Italy.
The main focus was to provide an easy to use and extensible framework that would allow authorised staff to add new category areas and subsequent files (reports, marketing collateral etc) without any assistance from Spira. Allowing the intranet to truly evolve organically inline with the business needs and not be restricted by the CMS or any additional ongoing costs.
The system has been fully integrated with Siblu’s Active Directory to provide access to the phonebook application, which hosts the contact information for all Siblu staff across Europe. Linking to the Active Directory also lays the foundations for full content personalisation for each of the different user groups (sales managers, I.T, parc managers and marketing staff etc). Phase one of the solution supports specific personalisation for the directors, allowing sensitive information to be uploaded and viewed by that user group only.
The intranet also provides a web forum, a careers area, content managed banner feature, document download log and has also been delivered in French.
