Creative Design

The creative ‘act’ is a process not a momentCreative Design is a very complex process that involves a lot more than just placing pixels on to a Photoshop page layout. Creative Design is about the passion, flair and devotion to the medium that really makes it work, and the considerations that are all part of this process.

Requirements Gathering

So before we create a pixel, we need to know what you are thinking! This involves talking to you about your business and the expectations that you have for a particular project. What you have to say is important to us and will help us colour the project to meet your expectations.

Research of the Marketplace

Once we have all the information we can start looking at themes and ideas that will make up the creative design. This involves looking at what your competitors currently have to offer, and beating this. We will look at new technologies and web trends; after all, the digital medium is something that is constantly changing, and it is our job to move with the times.

Branding

A solid brand gives a memorable first impression and evokes positive associations with it. A good brand is all about identifiable logos, consistent site features and navigation devices, contrasting use of colours, and positive use of metaphors where applied.

Design

The design of your electronic materials is important to us. It's not just about looking good, this also has to be easy to use and consistent throughout. We use carefully selected imagery that purposefully and successfully promotes your business. Colours, fonts, typography and clear and concise layout are all part of what adds up to make a good design.

Designers Touch

Usability is a very important and fundamental aspect of design. If something looks good but you are unsure how to use this, then this hasn't been designed very well. The materials we design for you will have clearly defined areas that will indicate to the user exactly how the medium is to be used. Consistent site features across all delivery mediums, good use of white space, colours and contrast all add up to make a usable design interface. A good design should not have to make you think too hard!

Spira has been designing and developing web sites, CD-ROMs, Email Marketing Materials and Content Management Systems for many years, and getting this right is a fundamental part of what we do for you.
